Frequently Asked Questions

Who and how will benefit from the PaRentsEdu project?
The main target group of our project are PARENTS. They will receive the new tools and knowledge concerning new forms of the out-of-school activities for their children. Through the participation in the pilot training and/or dissemination events they will have a possibility to meet other parents and organize with them the common out-of-school activities for their children. The second target group of our project are adult TRAINERS from the participating institutions and also from outside. They will receive the innovative material and tools for their work as the trainers.
In what types of educational activities we are interested in our project?
In our project, we are interested in many different types of educational activities, such as homeschooling, alternative schools, second schools, additional activities in schools, after school activities provided by teachers, outdoor activities, volunteering activities, experimental education, summer activities etc.
Why parents and their children need access to knowledge about the possibilities of out-of-school educational activities?
In traditional learning systems, students are passive participants at all the educational levels. Their personal creativeness is not encouraged, nor are they challenged to think critically and originally. On completing the process of formal education, they are capable of more or less successfully reproducing the information they learned in the course of their schooling. The knowledge students acquire in the course of their education process has frequently turned out not to be really applicable or be rather inadequate to meet the modern requirements of the modern environment.
our project final beneficiaries are STUDENTS.
